MONGOLIA
As part of Jonathan Ballenger’s Senior year he chose to spend January 2016 through April 2016 in Ulaanbatar Mongolia receiving high school credits for teaching 4th Grade Students English at the American School of Ulaanbatar.
Jonathan and Cristy Ballenger flew from Iowa to South Korea then on to Chinggis Khaan Airport in the capital city of Ulaanbatar.
Jonathan also participated in Christian Ministry with Ogoo Ulzii in Ulaanbatar Mongolia spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ with multiple services on Wednesday night, Sunday mornings and evenings. Jonathan lived with and experienced Mongolian foods, traditions and family life.
